Message Deletion
The messages for a customer record can be deleted from within Archiver. This is particularly helpful for GDPR and CCPA compliance.
Records can be deleted by:
- Individual email or mobile number
- Filtered search result set
- All currently stored records for that email address or mobile number
Note that this feature requires a user role with delete permissions.
Learn how to view your user permissions here. If you feel you have the wrong permissions, please reach out to your Archiver account Administrator.
From the Additional Options Menu
Click the Additional Options menu icon (three vertical dots) at the far right of the search fields bar.
Under Delete Records, you can:
- Delete selected row: deletes the row you have selected from the list of search results
- Delete all results: deletes the search result set
- Delete all records: deletes all records in storage for the customer record you have searched
In the List View
On the selected row in the List View of search results, click the More Options icon (three horizontal dots) to open a dropdown. Click the Delete message button to delete the selected message.
In the Message Details View
In the Message Details View, click the trash can icon to delete the message.
If you do not see the Delete buttons and require the permission to delete messages, please reach out to the Administrator of your Archiver account.
